Black & White Sunday: Rain, Rain Go Away

Millie sad

This is the face of a non-impressed puppy. In fact, all of us have been a little like that this week. We’ve had the hottest temperatures of the year, mixed in with some of the (hopefully) worse storms of the year. Either way it hasn’t been particularly good weather for fun and games… but it’s been great weather for napping and relaxing in front of fans (if you’re a pup, that is).

It’s also provided us with some scarily beautiful skies, that look good even with a phone camera, taken through a rain stained window!

How has your week been?Β  We’d love to hear!

THIS IS A BLOG HOP! Black and White Sunday is lovingly hosted by Sugar and Nola … Thank You! ❀

  1. Aw, that is such a sweet yet sad face. I feel you about the rain. It has rained here every day for a few weeks now. We will get a little sun and then in the afternoon we have a torrential downpour. 😦 Hopefully it lets up soon for you so you can have some fun.

    • Thanks so much, Rama’s Mama πŸ™‚ Urgh! Your weather sounds just like ours, boo! But then when it goes away it’s too hot to play!… The pups and I think summer is overrated!!
      Hugs, Carrie and Pups x

  2. Poor baby! We have actually had a three day break in the wretched heat and humidity. Of course, it will be back this week. Stay safe and dry, hopefully the sun will shine for you tomorrow!

  3. Aww darling Millie…it sounds terrible…like our summer we had…and we too had gorgeous skies…I hope it sorts itself out soon and the weather eases into something more friendly …a beautiful picture πŸ™‚ hugs and loves Bev and gang xx

    • Thank you so much Bev and gang!… you can see her signing through this pic can’t you? The skies definitely make up for it a little though! Boo to you having a rubbish summer though, we are moody on your behalf!
      Hugs, Carrie and Pups x

      • She does look unimpressed πŸ™‚ summer even though long gone now was foul and I hope the next one is a bit kinder! it nearly did us all in urghghggh πŸ™‚ loves Bev and gang xx

    • Uh oh! We didn’t blow it across I promise, Easy!… But that sounds like a perfect plan to deal with it! Maybe you can tell your students all about the weather next lesson?
      Hugs, Carrie and Pups x

  4. Oh, bless that little face!
We were forecast to have torrential rain and thunderstorms, so I rescheduled a couple of outdoor photo shoots at the weekend….. but as it turned out, we probably could have dodged what little rain there was, and we had no thunder at all! Ah well, I got to chill with Millie & Mabel instead, so can’t complain πŸ˜‰

    • Ah yay! there’s a liver lining in every cloud and it’s usually dog shaped πŸ™‚ yeah, it’s funny… the forecasts have been opposite our end too! For us though, it’s just a minor niggle, but when it’s your job to be outside it must be a real pain!! Here’s to lot’s more dry days!!
      Hugs, Carrie and Pups x

  7. Ironically, I find non-impressed puppy impressive. What a beautiful pup.

We’ve had a fair amount of rain in the southeastern US; it’s either too much rain or years of drought. Fun stuff. I don’t mind it, but my Iggy hates being walked in the rain. Poor beast.

    • Aww hehe! Thank you so much, Karen!

I’m quite a fan of the rain, myself. Which helps, being in the UK but, like Iggy none of the pups are particularly keen on walking in the stuff! I think they would welcome drought… It means the garden wouldn’t be soggy so they could go in ALL the time!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
      Hugs, Carrie and Pups x

    • Ahh it’s so tough isn’t it, Misaki when you have so much fur and hair! The pups are trying to stay cool, but their faces pretty much look the same whether rain or shine atm… Too much shine!
      Hugs, Carrie and Pups x

  8. Yow Miss Carrie, Mum haz blown a few gaskitz since last Wednesday! She iz at da point she iz too tired to fight anymore. Da tree iz gone so we haz to accept it 😦 We nott like it….we neber wil like it til we get a new tree in itz place!
Our conkreet waz poured today so by Furiday we mite be able to bee outside…
Mum gott da new drapez up n dey iz purrty n when closed dey block alot of lite so peepz will not bee able to see us inside πŸ˜‰
Aunti Mary sewed da blackout fabrick onto da bedroom drape n it werkz purrfect…Mum still haz to adjust da drape butt iz up fer now….
Hope ya can stop by n reed me new bloggie ’bout Suzy Q~deespite all da hubbub Mum did a kitteh resckue today! (She iz pawsum) πŸ˜‰
    Lub Nylablue xxxxxx

  9. Hope the weather has improved and that temperatures start cooling down a bit (if they haven’t already). That’s a beautiful photo of the stormy sky, even if Millie looks a bit unimpressed with the weather! πŸ™‚
