Earlier this week, Millie and I went on a little trek to the woods. She was having much too much fun to actually pose for any photos for me, so these are what we managed to get along the way.
She met her very first horse… well, she peeped at him under his fence which is kind of the same thing.
On the way back to the car she also met her very first squirrel! He was four times her size and made of wood, but she seemed to think there was something magical about him and claimed him as her new friend.
Millie would like to add this to our list of favourite walks, I’m not so sure (judging by the colour of her paws when we got back) but some things are worth getting dirty for, don’t you think?

Aww thanks Nylablue and Mummy, yes it really is a nice space… the horse was lovely, but luckily for Millie he was far too interested in eating the grass than coming over to say hello!
RIGHT! Isn’t the Squirrel amazing?? he had other friends there too, we hope to get pics of them at some point to share!

I love all of God’s creatures…horses hold a special place in my heart as the Horse was my childhood totem animal.
In fact the first word I said was “Horsey”….that dealed the deal for me, lol…
